As an architect, after 40 years of planning, designing and construction managing projects worldwide we came home to build a fabulous home. It is entering its 20 year and continues to be a design of great joy and function.
A homepage section
The house, based on a plan of a Greek Cross, follows the concepts of a New England wood shingle dwelling. Materials are eastern white shingles and the interior includes extensive use of teak and European steamed beech. Furnishings come from 30 years of collecting mid-century modern pieces.
